Dog agility is a sport in which a handler directs a dog through an obstacle course in a race for both time and accuracy.
Dogs all of shapes and sizes can participate!
Dogs run off leash with no food or toys as incentives, and the handler cannot touch either the dog or obstacles. Consequently the handler's controls are limited to voice, movement, and various body signals, requiring teamwork between the human-dog team. The courses progress in difficulty as the dog earns titles.
And most importantly- it's lots of fun!
The Brisbane Agility Dog Club Inc. is an affiliate of the Agility Dog Association of Australia.
